There has been a report of a vehicle break-in recently. Please keep all valuables that are stored inside your vehicle out of public view and lock your car doors at all times. Suspicious persons or activity should be reported directly to the Montgomery County Police (301-279-8000).
See Something, Say Something
Residents are encouraged to keep their front porch and rear patio lights on at nighttime. Criminals sometimes target areas that are not well lit and where they are less likely to be seen.
If you park your vehicle along the side of the road and you are parking along the street curb, (not in a marked parking space), please make every attempt not to park directly across from another parked vehicle. This creates a traffic hazard for large vehicles that are attempting to access or exit the community. Please also refrain from parking in front of a mailbox and do not park within 5 feet of any driveway.
Residents must store their trash and place trash out for collection in trash cans with lids. This is a Montgomery County requirement. Residents should refrain from placing trash out for collection in trash bags, not just because residents would be breaking the law, but because this behavior often leads to animals rummaging through the trash and the loose trash will attract rats.
